We’re dedicated to unifying the public with a sense of community and appreciation towards the progression of the underground and local music and arts. Charleston and Big Bass Music are our personal focus, but we wish to showcase a wide variety of talent all around the southeast coastal area.
CLFO looks for any excuse to play bass-heavy music on a massive sound system (the way it’s meant to be heard), and to expose the sounds of local and international producers who are making fresh and exotic, bass-heavy, 21st-century music. CLFO hopes to feature DJs and artists who bring their own take on bass modulation, be it dubstep, garage, dancehall, dubwise, jungle, d’n'b, grime, roots reggae, dub techno or something else that is so heavy and new it doesn’t even have a name yet.
We hold a great value to living outside the box, and keeping things fresh.
Mainstream, and stagnation of old ideals, appears to hold popular demand, but we know that we can’t be the only ones dissatisfied with the lack of a cultural renaissance in the South Eastern area.
There is a movement toward parties that people actually want to attend, that are focused around giant speakers stacks, epic lights, raging party vibes, and ripping up the dance floor like our lives depended on it, to musician’s performing their hearts out, with original/underground music, brought to the public for the love, not just a paycheck from a bar owner. Feeling the Sub rattle your insides is a crucial element to the trans-formative qualities of the music. These 21 inch subs will make you say “Oh Yeah” and, “I’d like some more please” So get ready to start smiling.
We support all acts of self expression, and wish to collaborate and bring together any creative outlets of the community, to be a collective force of forward thinking people, celebrating our future and culture, not sulking in our division.
